There are so many special events in the fall and winter. Weddings, holiday parties, New Year's Eve parties. Events where you want to really look your best. Believe it or not, that takes a little advance planning! We are preparing for our daughter's wedding. I am going to wear one of those dresses that, well, a) show my arms, b) show my curves, c) show my decolletage, and d) show my back. Pretty scary, right? Not to mention that of course my face needs a little attention. So... I created a to-do timeline for me to look my best, and I thought I would share it with you. And keep in mind that this is not just a to-do for weddings, you can use if you simply want to continue looking your best. My first to-do is CoolSculpting under my chin, my outer thighs, my abdomen, and my arms. I am in pretty good shape but I don't want excess fat hanging around showing anywhere near my FABULOUS dress! This is three months out from the event, because it takes time for the body to naturally eliminate the dead fat cells. Next is micro-needling. I have been doing this, but I am going in to Vitality Skin & Body medical spa at two months before and again at one month before the wedding. It really is amazing how this perks up your skin, eliminates lines, and gives you a refreshed look. When I have micro-needling done, the lines in my decolletage area disappear almost completely, and that is important for a plunging neckline dress. Then, I am going to get a little Juvederm in my lips to give them a nice plump look and eliminate those little vertical wrinkles that start to creep around your lip area. And, I will have the gals at Vitality Skin & Body work on the wrinkles around my eyes and forehead with Botox. This I will do about two weeks out from the wedding, as well as photo rejuvenation IPL to tackle the brown spots on my forehead and decolletage area. After that, I think I will be good to go! Confident that I look my best for this wonderful occasion. I really do recommend that you do advance planning for your special events. You can call the skin care professionals at Vitality Skin & Body in Scottsdale for a complimentary consultation. They are well trained, really good listeners, and can help you decide both the necessary treatments and timeline to get you ready. The phone number is 480-203-3918 or e-mail them to schedule.
