There are so many special events in the fall and winter.  Weddings, holiday parties, New Year's Eve parties.   Events where you want to really look your best.  Believe it or not, that takes a little advance planning!  We are preparing for our daughter's wedding.  I am going to wear one of those dresses that, well,  a) show my arms, b) show my curves, c) show my decolletage, and d) show my back.   Pretty scary, right?  Not to mention that of course my face needs a little attention.  So... I created a to-do timeline for me to look my best, and I thought I would share it with you. And keep in mind that this is not just a to-do for weddings, you can use if you simply want to continue looking your best.

My first to-do is CoolSculpting under my chin, my outer thighs, my abdomen, and my arms.  I am in pretty good shape but I don't want excess fat hanging around showing anywhere near my FABULOUS dress!  This is three months out from the event, because it takes time for the body to naturally eliminate the dead fat cells.

It's July in the Valley of the Sun.  The sun is continuing to bake anything within reach of its' rays.  Thirty minutes outside in the sun can make your skin look like a tomato.  And when you are sunburned, all of the moisture is sapped out of your skin. • Use this rule of thumb when applying sunscreens, lotions, and topical serums - apply the clearest one first.  Example - topical vitamin C, and then work your way out from there.  Sunscreen should be last.  We also have several sunscreens we can recommend as they are not all created equal.  And keep in mind that expiration dates on sunscreen really do matter.
